Spring Concert 2025
Our final performance for the academic year of 2024/25, was held at the beautiful Holy Name Church on the 24th of May. Our conductors are Joseph Tanner, and Francesca Peilober-Richardson.
Pieces we performed:- Shadowlands Music by Lebo M and Hans Zimmer, Lyrics by Mark Mancina and Lebo M - Broadway piece featured in The Lion King musical
- Gaelic Song of the Boatman (Fhir a'Bhata) Music by Sine NicFhionnlaigh , Arranged by Phillip Lawson originally from the 18th century, written by an unknown author pining for her beloved, a fisherman at sea.
- Mack the Knife Music by Kurt Weill, Arranged by Russ Robinson the iconic and fun jazz piece.
- Surge Illuminare Music by Michael John Trotta a beautiful and uplifting choral piece.
- Shenandoah Arranged by James Erb the classic American folk song.
- Pirates of the Caribbean Music by Klaus Badelt, Arranged by Ted Ricketts An instantly recognisable film score. What's not to love!
- James Bond Medley Music by Monty Norman, Arranged by Victor López Another piece of brilliant film music.
- Sleeping Beauty Waltz Music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Arranged by Paul Lavender a beautiful orchestral waltz from the classic ballet.
- Danzon No. 2 Music by Arturo Márquez a vibrant and rhythmic piece that showcases the energy of Latin music.
- Can Can Music by Jacques Offenbach a lively and energetic piece from the operetta "Orpheus in the Underworld"
- Tico Tico Music by Zequinha de Abreu a lively and energetic piece from the Brazilian choro genre.
- The Awakening Words and music by John Martin a powerful choral piece that celebrates the joy and power of communal singing.
CAOS is honoured to have had the opportunity to open IMM's Access all Ages event on the 12th May at 10am.


What is CAOS?
We're a friendly, non-audition music society passionate about performing fantastic choir and orchestra music from every genre - open to absolutely everyone! We pride ourselves in being non-audition and inclusive, proving anyone can make music!
Who are we?
We're a diverse community, from Uni students to teachers to surgeons, if you love music, you're welcome to join CAOS! We provide a welcoming and fun space to perform music to a high standard, and most importantly provide a social place to meet like-minded friends.
What do we do?
We perform concerts twice a year, as well as going on a residential once a year to spread the joy of music to communities across the UK. We have regular socials, encouraging everyone to connect and make new memories.

Performances
We perform a wide range of music, from classical to contemporary, in various concerts throughout the year. Our performances are currently at Holy Name Church, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase our talents.
We take care to keep rehearsals and performances around exam seasons, and with over 300 people across the globe who come to support our concerts.
