Hi, I'm Joe - Choir Conductor for CAOS. I'm in my third year with the society and I am so pleased to still be working with these singers. I've been conducting choirs, orchestras and concert bands since my first year at university, 9 years ago. My conducting passion lies in choral music, but also in musical theatre, and I am beginning a Masters Degree in Musical Direction this year. I would say something like "when I'm not doing music, I'll be...", but in reality, not a day goes by where I'm not doing something musical!

CAOS is an amazing choir and the quality of singing that the choir achieves in every single concert is fantastic. In each concert over the last couple of years, we've introduced new elements and exciting twists, such as performing small section songs for just Sopranos and Altos, and singing alongside the full orchestra counterpart of CAOS. I'm expecting this year to be one of the best yet and I can't wait to share what we've been working on.

About the choir

CAOS choir is a mixed voice (SATB) non-audition choir, all are welcome to come along and give it a go (student or not). The choir rehearses weekly during university term time at St. Chrysostom's Church.

Our choir rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, 6pm until 8pm. Even if you've never sung before, or it's just been a while since you last did, come along!
