    Orchestra Conductor

Hi, I’m Francesca and this will be my sixth year as orchestra conductor of this wonderful society! I am a Head of Music at a secondary school and also teach religion! I’m currently studying a second Masters in Religious Education at the RNCM part-time and when I have free time, you’ll find me doing embroidery whilst watching a film surrounded by lots of cushions!

About the Orchestra

CAOS Orchestra's loud section

CAOS orchestra is a non-auditioned and open to all players (not just students). We recommend an approximate Grade 5 standard of playing but this is not a necessity. The orchestra rehearses weekly during university term time at St. Chrysostom's Church.

Our orchestra rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, 8pm until 10.15pm, led by our conductor, Francesca Peilober-Richardson.

If you don’t have your instrument in Manchester with you then don’t fear, we recommend trying Johnny Roadhouse or Forsyth’s for instrument hire. So come along and give it a go, even if it’s been a while since you last played!
